During the summer on Thursday evenings, Walden Velo has access to the airfield at Carver Barracks for specialised training sessions.

It's a great opportunity to learn how to improve your endurance, strength and speed, as well as the fundamentals of how to ride safely in a group.

Sessions start at 7:00pm and riders can choose between a road or off-road workout.



The road sessions involve anything from chaingang riding techniques, assorted interval routines, to sprint leadout practise.



The mountain bike course is of national  level quality and used in 2017 for the eastern regional championship round of Mud, Sweat and Gears.
