Can you believe it's only two weeks to go until the Arkesden Hill Climb?

Entries close on the 24th September!

Race Categories:

To keep the competition interesting for everyone we will have different age categories, covering the young whipper snappers, through to the old geezers, for both the women's and men's fields, alongside the overall winners on the day.

In addition to our usual age and gender categories we will also have a gravel and mtb category to open up the field to riders without road bikes. Gravel and mountain bike riders will need to have off-road tyres fitted; no racing slicks!

The event is open to all, if you have friends who might be interested then encourage them to join!

Food and Drink:

Trukhiato will be on hand at the top of the climb with fresh, hot, coffee and we'll provide cakes in case you're peckish.

The climb:

The race will take on "Col du Long Lane"; a few minutes of lung busting effort and you'll be met by a cheering crowd at the summit.

To give you the best possible time, and avoid needing to clip in, we'll be holding riders at the start - You just have to pedal and point your bike in the right direction!

Can you help?

We can't run these events without your support; if you are available to support on the morning of the 28th we'd be grateful for your support. Please email rides@waldenvelo.com if you can help.

The Details:

Date: 28th September. The first riders will leave at 8am.
