Having had a very mild autumn it seems that December has decided to turn the freezers on! That means crisp, frosty mornings - with a bit of luck we'll get some dappled sunlight!
We will continue to ride this weekend however, given the potential for ice on the road, we will be following WR1 (essentially out to Clare and back). We'll review the weather as we get closer to Sunday morning. For those of you who are out, ride safe and look after each other. Consider packing an extra layer in case of punctures.

VIRTUAL RIDES:
We know that many won't feel comfortable riding when it's particularly cold out, you may also feel that you can't quite manage two hours on a Sunday at the moment. To try and keep you rolling, and allow some virtual socialisation, we have set up the Walden Velo Virtual club on zwift. Please follow the link below to join the club.
To that end, we have set up a 9:00am ride on Sunday morning. Assuming that I've selected the right options in setting the ride up, everyone who joins should follow along at the same speed - It's been more than two years since I've used Zwift, so please forgive me if it all goes wrong! The route looks like it should be rolling and about 50km.
To try and aid the social chatter, we will create a discord channel to chat. If you plan on joining the chat, please email rides@waldenvelo.com to let me know by 7:00am on Sunday.
If you need to leave early for any reason then that's not a problem - Just remember to say goodbye!
