Weekly ride update

SUNDAY RIDES

We're continuing with our regular Sunday schedule and it's looking like the forecast for Sunday is a bit more summery! This week we're following SR13. As we've had a few questions about it recently, the Sunday schedule in the summer starts at 7:30am in the market square, try to arrive a few minutes early!

We run five groups in the summer:

Two hour "steady" (16 - 17mph average, no drops!): https://www.waldenvelo.com/sr13

CHAIN GANG -  TUESDAY EVENING

Meet at the Railway Arms on Tuesday evenings at 19:00. Bring lights for the ride home - sunset is drawing in quickly these days!

We are getting good numbers with two groups heading out for the last two weeks; a faster ride and a steadier group. If you are thinking of joining but worried that you won't be able to take the pace in the faster group then this second group offers an easier entry to these types of rides. Don't be shy, they're good fun and great training, and will help build your group riding skills.

MIDWEEK RIDE - WEDNESDAY MORNING

We offer midweek morning rides throughout the year, and these will cover around 35 miles in a two hour ride. After the ride there's opportunity to chat at Bicicletta over a drink. The route this week is MW6. https://www.waldenvelo.com/mid-week-rides/ 

SOCIAL RIDES - WEDNESDAY EVENING

With longer, warmer, days we have the opportunity to get out on our bikes into the evening sunshine. The social rides meet in the market square at 6:45 and are great fun. There are both road based, and gravel based, options. If you haven't been yet, come and have a go!

The three hour routes head further south and loop around Bishop Stortford; we're getting quite familiar with the roads down that way now!
